Honouring Her Legacy

Some people leave behind memories. My Nani left behind a way of life.

I was born in her home, raised in her arms, and blessed to spend my life with her until her very last breath. She was never just my grandmother—she was my second mother, my teacher, my guide, my safe place, and my biggest cheerleader.

She taught me far more than everyday skills. She shaped my values, introduced me to Hindi and Sanskrit, shared her love for literature, history, and culture, and helped me become the person I am today. Every lesson she taught me continues to guide me in life.

Her kindness, wisdom, strength, and unwavering belief in me gave me the confidence to face the world. She always encouraged me, celebrated my achievements, and filled my life with unconditional love.

Though she is no longer with us, her presence lives on in the way I think, speak, treat others, and carry myself every day. Her love and values will remain a part of me forever.

I find comfort in believing that she is now reunited with my grandfather, watching over our family with the same love and care she always gave us.

Thank you, Nani, for every lesson, every blessing, every story, and every sacrifice. Your legacy will continue to live through me, always.

You will forever be my greatest blessing. I love you, and I will miss you for the rest of my life.

My Beloved Nani
